Technical Services
Our team, Pepe Andua and Paco Ghil, have
many years experience working in properties at La Manga Club.
Their daily workload is extremely varied, ranging from carrying
out day-to-day maintenance in properties on the complex to
re-wiring homes and re-tiling bathrooms. Technical Services,
along with the Property Inspectors help provide Emergency
Cover 24 hours a day, seven days a week for properties managed
by Barwell Mangement Services.
Inspectors
The inspectors are
the main point of contact between BMS and the property
owners whose homes we look after. In addition to their
roles as Inspectors, they all have additional duties within
the company. The primary role of the Inspectors is to visit
their allocated properties every month, if possible, and report
to the owners on the condition of the property. They highlight
any problems, and make decisions in conjunction with their
Supervisors, Jan and Colin whether any works needs to be carried
out.
Housekeeping
BMS’ team of Housekeepers take care
of Cleaning Linen Services. The team consists of Almudena
Hernandez and Juana Bernal.
The roles involve ensuring that properties
are cleaned and ready for owners, and their guests, taking
account of their very exact specifications. The team also
ensures that all properties being prepared by BMS for
occupancy have sufficient clean linen. This is a massive
undertaking, as in 2002, BMS laundered more than 40 tonnes of
sheets, towels and other linen items. In addition, the
Housekeepers also look after the Almacen, our warehouse which
stocks everything from clothes pegs to kettles, coat hangers
and bedside lamps ensuring that it is well stocked, and that
we have sufficient items available to meet our owners’ needs.
The Housekeepers also arrange for all special laundering
requests to be carried out on behalf of our owners.
Accounts
Accounts
perform a vital role within the organisation, as they ensure
that all our owners are invoiced correctly, and that all bills
and invoices presented to BMS. Domingo Fernandez, the head
accountant oversees the running of the accounts department.
Another key responsibility for the accounts department is to
ensure that Electricity accounts, Club Fees and Community Fees
are paid regularly for owners who have Comprehensive
Management with BMS. Domingo is ably assisted by Isa Mateo who
has many years experience of working at
BMS.
